Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 32 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and eggs, mixing well.
  4. Divide the mixture in half; stir pureed strawberries into one half and melted chocolate into the other.
  5. Pour the strawberry mixture onto the crust, followed by the chocolate mixture. Swirl with a knife.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until set. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger strawberry flavor, add more pureed strawberries to the mixture.
