- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 32 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and eggs, mixing well.
- Divide the mixture in half; stir pureed strawberries into one half and melted chocolate into the other.
- Pour the strawberry mixture onto the crust, followed by the chocolate mixture. Swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until set. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger strawberry flavor, add more pureed strawberries to the mixture.
- Garnish with fresh strawberries and chocolate shavings before serving.
