- 1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in sour cream and melted chocolate until fully incorporated.
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until set.
- Let it cool and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
