Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the mixture over the prime rib roast.
- Place the roast in a roasting pan and cook for 20 minutes at high heat.
- Reduce the temperature to 325°F (163°C) and continue cooking until desired doneness is reached.
- Let the roast rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing and serving.
