- 40 saltine crackers
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Bring it to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Pour the butter mixture over the saltine crackers, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips over the toffee. Let them sit for a few minutes to melt, then spread the chocolate evenly.
- In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and granulated sugar, then sprinkle it over the melted chocolate.
- Let the toffee cool completely before cutting it into pieces.
