- 4 medium sweet potatoes
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and pierce the sweet potatoes with a fork.
- Bake for about 45 minutes or until tender.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Once the sweet potatoes are done, slice them open and drizzle the cinnamon butter mixture over the top.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- For a nutty flavor, add chopped pecans on top before serving.
- These sweet potatoes can be prepared ahead of time and reheated in the oven.
