- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter until combined. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, then let it cool.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla until fully combined.
- Fold in the sliced bananas into the cream cheese mixture.
- Pour the banana mixture into the cooled crust and spread evenly.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Spread the whipped cream over the top of the cheesecake.
- Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use ripe bananas.
- Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
