- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa powder, and milk. Stir well over medium heat until it reaches a boil.
- Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Add butter and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- Remove from heat and fold in nuts if using.
- Pour the mixture into a greased square pan and let it cool completely.
- Once set, cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate cocoa powder.
- The fudge can be stored in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
