- 1 pound lump crab meat
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently until combined and form into patties.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry crab cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- Remove from skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add diced bell peppers or onions to the mixture.
- Chill the patties in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before frying for better texture.
