  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 cups toasted nuts (almonds and hazelnuts)
  • 2 egg whites (beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar and honey and cook over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Bring to a boil, then simmer until the mixture reaches 255°F (hard ball stage).
  3. While the sugar mixture is cooking, beat the egg whites in a clean bowl until stiff peaks form.
  4. Once the sugar mixture is ready, slowly pour it into the egg whites while continuing to beat until well combined.
  5. Fold in the toasted nuts, vanilla extract, and salt.
  6. Pour the mixture into a lined baking pan and spread evenly.
  7. Let it cool completely before cutting into pieces.
