- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup coconut rum
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 package ladyfinger cookies
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in the coconut rum into the mascarpone mixture.
- Dip the ladyfinger cookies quickly into the brewed coffee and layer them in a serving dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the layer of cookies.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded coconut on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and shredded coconut.
- Dust the top with cocoa powder before serving.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, you can replace coconut rum with coconut extract.
- Chill the tiramisu for at least 4 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
