Ingredients

- 6 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup diced onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup pasta of choice
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 cups chopped kale or spinach
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
- In the same pot, add onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Stir in the pasta and cook until al dente.
- Add the chopped turkey bacon, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Finally, stir in the chopped kale or spinach until wilted.
- Serve hot with additional Parmesan if desired.
Notes
- For a vegetarian version, omit the turkey bacon.
- Feel free to add other vegetables as desired.
