Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract together.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Pour the batter through a funnel or a squeeze bottle into the hot oil, creating a spiral shape.
- Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes, then flip to cook the other side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
