  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crab meat, cooked and flaked
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted (for sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Add cold butter to the dry ingredients and cut in until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in cheddar cheese, crab meat, green onions, and milk until just combined.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. In a small saucepan, combine melted butter, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Cook on low heat for 1-2 minutes.
  8. Serve biscuits warm with lemon butter sauce drizzled on top.
