- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and cayenne pepper.
- Add cold butter to the dry ingredients and cut in until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in cheddar cheese, crab meat, green onions, and milk until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a small saucepan, combine melted butter, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Cook on low heat for 1-2 minutes.
- Serve biscuits warm with lemon butter sauce drizzled on top.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add more cayenne pepper.
- These biscuits freeze well; reheat in the oven before serving.
