- 12 large mushrooms
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup crab meat, cooked and shredded
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Remove the stems from the mushrooms and chop them finely.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, chopped mushroom stems, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the crab mixture.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding some chopped scallions or a dash of hot sauce to the filling.
- These mushrooms can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
