- 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on each triangle.
- Fold over the dough to form a shape of your choice.
- Brush with egg wash made from the beaten egg and melted butter.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and milk until smooth and drizzle over the cooled danish.
