- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef with chopped onions.
- Add mushrooms and cook until softened.
- Stir in cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
- In a separate pot, cook egg noodles according to package instructions.
- Combine beef mixture with cooked noodles, mix well, and fold in sour cream.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, top with cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add more cheese on top before baking.
- Feel free to substitute ground turkey for a lighter dish.
