- 8 ounces fusilli pasta
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning; cook until shrimp are pink.
- Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic; sauté until softened.
- Stir in heavy cream, cheddar cheese, and Parmesan cheese; mix well.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine everything evenly.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and sprinkle with additional cheese if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra spice, add more Cajun seasoning.
- Can substitute shrimp with chicken or sausage.
