Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large pot, boil cauliflower florets until tender, about 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and reserve the drippings.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter in the reserved drippings and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add heavy cream, salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme to the skillet. Stir well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add cooked cauliflower, chicken ham, and half of the cheddar cheese to the skillet. Mix until combined.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbling.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of nutmeg.
  • Feel free to substitute with different cheeses like mozzarella or gouda.
