- 2 pounds potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 4 ounces turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 4 ounces chicken ham, diced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, chicken broth, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle half of the onions, garlic, turkey bacon, and chicken ham over the potatoes.
- Pour half of the cream mixture over the layers.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes or until potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use a mixture of cheeses.
- Feel free to add herbs like thyme or rosemary for extra flavor.
