- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
- Add the mushrooms and garlic to the skillet, and sauté until the mushrooms are tender.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, and mix until combined.
- Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a healthier option, you can use whole wheat pasta.
- Feel free to replace shrimp with chicken if desired.
