- 8 ounces cheese tortellini
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup chicken ham, diced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop into pieces.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil, onion, and garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add the diced chicken ham and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and salt. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked tortellini and bacon to the sauce, stirring to combine.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use pancetta instead of turkey bacon.
- This recipe can be easily doubled for a larger crowd.
