Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and salt until combined.
- Gradually mix in the flour until the batter is smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Once baked, let the cake cool, then sprinkle brown sugar on top.
- Using a kitchen torch, caramelize the brown sugar until golden and crispy.
