- 1 cup chopped apples
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- In a separate bowl, combine rolled oats, flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped apples.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- For chewier cookies, slightly underbake them.
- These cookies can be customized with nuts or dried fruits.
