- 8 ounces feta cheese
- 1 package phyllo dough
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons hot chili honey
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the phyllo dough by unrolling and covering it with a damp cloth.
- Cut the phyllo into long strips.
- Place feta on the edge of each strip, sprinkle with black pepper and oregano.
- Roll the phyllo dough around the feta and brush with olive oil.
- Place on a baking sheet and brush the tops with egg wash.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Drizzle with hot chili honey before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes inside the rolls.
- Serve warm for the best texture and taste.
