- 2 pounds flank steak
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- Place the flank steak in the crockpot.
- Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, and garlic over the steak.
- In a separate bowl, mix the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. Pour this mixture over the ingredients in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the steak is tender.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, mix the cornstarch with a little water and stir it into the crockpot to thicken the sauce.
- Serve the pepper steak over rice or noodles.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the steak overnight with the sauce ingredients.
- You can add additional vegetables like mushrooms or carrots if desired.
