- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound beef sausage
- 1/2 pound turkey bacon
- 1 cup diced bell peppers
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 pre-made deep-dish pie crust
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and beef sausage, cooking until browned.
- Stir in the diced bell peppers, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a bowl, combine the meat mixture with the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Place the pie crust in a pie dish and fill it with the meat and cheese mixture.
- Cover the filling with the beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables for extra flavor.
- This pie can be made ahead of time and reheated when ready to serve.
