- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound sausage
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup diced onion
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 pie crusts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef and sausage over medium heat until browned.
- Add onion and garlic, cooking until soft.
- Stir in pepperoni, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Roll out one pie crust into a deep dish pie pan.
- Pour the meat mixture into the crust and top with mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with the second pie crust, sealing the edges.
- Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Let the pie sit for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables.
