Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold in chopped strawberries.
- Place a spoonful of the mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper and fold according to package instructions, sealing the edges.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with additional powdered sugar or strawberry sauce.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can mix in a bit of lemon zest.
