  • 2 cups diced dill pickles

  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon dill weed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cream

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat, then add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until translucent.
  2. Add the chopped turkey bacon and chicken ham, cooking until browned.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the diced dill pickles, bay leaf, dill weed, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 15 minutes.
  5. Remove the bay leaf, then stir in the cream. Heat through before serving.

Notes

  • This soup can be garnished with additional dill and cracked black pepper.
  • For a thicker consistency, blend a portion of the soup and mix it back in.
