- 2 cans tuna, drained
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup dill pickles, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, diced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices bread
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine tuna, mayonnaise, dill pickles, red onion, and cheddar cheese.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Lay two slices of bread, butter-side down, on a hot skillet.
- Evenly distribute the tuna mixture over the bread in the skillet.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, butter-side up.
- Cook until golden brown on each side and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Notes
- For added flavor, try mixing in some hot sauce.
- Serve with a side of potato chips or a simple salad.
