Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 food coloring gels (pink, blue, yellow)
  • 2 cups buttercream frosting
  • 1 edible bunny decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease three 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until fully combined.
  7. Divide the batter into three bowls and add a different food coloring gel to each bowl.
  8. Pour the colored batters into the prepared cake pans and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Once cooled, layer the cakes with buttercream frosting in between.
  10. Frost the outside of the cake and decorate with the bunny.
