- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup pastel M&M's
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the vanilla and eggs until well combined.
- Gradually add in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and M&M's.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
- For an extra festive touch, sprinkle some colored sugar on top before baking.
- These cookies are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container.
