Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon lime zest
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes, then allow to cool.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, and lime zest.
  6. Pour the filling into the cooled crust.
  7. Bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  8. Allow pie to cool, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  9. For the topping, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  10. Spread whipped cream over the pie before serving.
