- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups pecans, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, butter, and granulated sugar until crumbly. Press into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, whisk together brown sugar, eggs, corn syrup, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in chopped pecans.
- Pour the pecan mixture over the crust and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until set.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, toast the pecans before adding them to the mixture.
- These bars are best served chilled.
