- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook until browned on both sides.
- Remove patties and set aside. In the same skillet, add sliced mushrooms and sauté until soft.
- Stir in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, bringing to a simmer.
- Add the patties back to the skillet and cover, letting cook for 10-15 minutes, until heated through.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add some thyme or parsley to the sauce.
- Serve with mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
