- 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper together.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, and eggs.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the crumbled turkey bacon and sausage.
- Divide the batter evenly into a greased muffin tin.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add chopped jalapeños or hot sauce to the batter.
- These muffins are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored for later.
