- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract, then add the flour and baking powder.
- Fold in the crushed pineapple and chopped nuts.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- While the cake is baking, prepare the frosting by combining powdered sugar, cream cheese, and heavy cream until smooth.
- Once the cake has cooled, spread the frosting evenly on top.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add banana slices to the frosting.
