Ingredients

  • 3 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix balsamic vinegar, cranberry sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the beef chuck roast in a baking dish and pour the sauce over it.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 3-4 hours, until the beef is tender and falls apart.
  5. Remove from oven, let rest for 10 minutes, then shred the beef and mix with the sauce.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
