- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 8 ounces brie cheese
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 2 tablespoons honey (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares.
- Place slices of brie in the center of each square.
- Add a few cranberries and a sprinkle of walnuts on top of the brie.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create a pocket and seal the edges.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Drizzle with honey before serving if desired.
Notes
- For an extra touch, add a sprinkle of rosemary or thyme with the filling.
- Make sure to let the pastries cool for a few minutes before serving to avoid burns.
