Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and almond flour.
- Add the chilled cubed butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the egg, vanilla extract, and cold water until the dough forms.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to fit a tart dish.
- Press the dough into the dish and trim any excess.
- Sprinkle sliced almonds over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
