- 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pie crust
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, sauté onion and bell pepper until soft.
- In a bowl, combine sautéed vegetables, shrimp, cheese, and spices.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk, then add to the shrimp mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set and golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add Old Bay seasoning to the shrimp mixture.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
