- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onions and sauté until caramelized.
- Season the chicken breasts and place them in a baking dish.
- Layer the caramelized onions over the chicken.
- In a separate bowl, mix the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings, then pour over the chicken and onions.
- Crumble the cooked turkey bacon on top and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and cheese is bubbly.
