- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 6 strips turkey bacon
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup Gruyère cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onions until caramelized, then add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add broth, thyme, salt, and pepper to the pan, then bring to a simmer.
- Place chicken in a baking dish and pour the onion mixture over it.
- Top with crumbled turkey bacon and shredded cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.

- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the broth before cooking.
