Instructions

  2. Add the sliced onion to the skillet and sauté until caramelized.
  3. Stir in the garlic and thyme, cooking for one more minute.
  4. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in the rice and chicken broth, bringing to a simmer.
  6. Reduce heat, cover, and cook for 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
  7. Mix in the crumbled turkey bacon before serving.
