- 2 pounds potatoes, sliced
- 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 cups cheese, shredded
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy; remove and set aside.
- Add onions to the skillet and sauté until caramelized.
- In a baking dish, layer sliced potatoes, cooked bacon, and caramelized onions.
- Pour beef broth over the layers and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- For a vegetarian version, omit turkey bacon and replace beef broth with vegetable broth.
