- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and chop.
- Sauté onions in the same skillet until caramelized.
- Mix ground turkey, chopped turkey bacon, salt, and pepper. Form into patties.
- Grill or pan-fry the patties until cooked through.
- Add caramelized onions and Swiss cheese on top and cover until cheese melts.
- Serve on buns with extra broth if desired.
Notes
- Use low-sodium broth for less salt.
- For extra flavor, add Worcestershire sauce to the patty mixture.
