- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup strawberries, diced
- 4 slices bread
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture on two slices of bread and top with diced strawberries.
- Place the other two slices of bread on top to form sandwiches.
- Prepare three bowls for flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- Dip each sandwich in flour, then in eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry each sandwich until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
Notes
- Serve with extra strawberries on top.
- For a sweeter treat, drizzle with chocolate sauce.
