- 4 fillets cod fish
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and add minced garlic.
- Place the cod fillets in a baking dish and pour the garlic butter mixture over them.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the fillets and sprinkle with parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the fish in the garlic butter for 30 minutes before baking.
- Serve with a side of steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
