A deliciously creamy and cheesy pasta dish featuring garlic butter chicken and penne, topped with mozzarella alfredo sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless chicken breasts, diced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and then add the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Cook until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce.
  6. Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet, mixing well to cover all the pasta with the cheesy sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

  • For extra flavor, consider adding Italian herbs to the sauce.
