- 1 pound cod fillets
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the cod fillets to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook until the cod is golden on one side, then flip and add sweet chili sauce and lime juice.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for about 10 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier sauce, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Substitute cod with any white fish if desired.
